Extension to Vauxhall van discounts

Vauxhall has extended an offer cutting £7,500 off the price of a new Movano van by three months, it has announced.
Vauxhall's swappage scheme offers up to £7,500 discount on a new Vauxhall Movano when a van which is aged seven years and over is traded in.
The scheme, which also offers discounts on other models in Vauxhall's range such as the Vauxhall Corsa, Vauxhall Combo and Vauxhall Vivaro vans, will not run until 30 March 2012.
Available from all London Vauxhall retailers, the swappage scheme is designed to encourage Vauxhall van drivers to trade in their old vans and avoid charges of up to £100 per day for travelling in London from next year.
A new London Low Emission Zone covering the area inside the M25 is being introduced from 1 January 2012 and any vans which do not comply with Euro 3 emissions levels will be charged £100 per day.
Typically, this means vans which are over ten years old. The zone has been introduced to encourage greener, more economical vans on London streets.
Richard Collier, Vauxhall's National Commercial Vehicles Sales Manager, said: "With this exceptional offer, Vauxhall is once again supporting its customers with a compelling, value for money package together to meet their day-to-day needs in a tough economic environment.
"Vauxhall was the first manufacturer to offer eco-models across its commercial vehicle range and these too are part of our attractive swappage scheme."
The scheme includes discounts of £3,500 on the Vauxhall Corsavan, the smallest van in Vauxhall's range, with increasing discounts as you move up the range.
It will now run until the end of March after the latest extension to the scheme.
