England and Arsenal football icon, Ian Wright, is giving his Twitter followers the chance of a lifetime to play at Wembley, all thanks to England team sponsor Vauxhall.

When he reached one million Twitter followers – Wright promised to do something very special for his fans – he’s coming out of retirement for #OneMoreGame and his followers have the chance to line up beside him at the home of football.

Wright announced his comeback to the game on Twitter on Tuesday and last night revealed that Vauxhall has secured Wembley as the venue for a game that will feature some of his followers and a couple of surprises.

Wright, whose Twitter bio reads “Twitter. Where strangers can become friends", said: “I’ve watched all the FA Cup Finals from 1970 up to the present day, and Wembley is such a special stadium. I never dreamt that I would actually get to play and score there.

“Because it all happened to me at Wembley, I wanted to have a game there and give my Twitter followers the chance to be a part of it."

Adding, “I can’t thank Vauxhall enough, they’ve given us the stadium – I’m feeling very emotional about the whole thing. I think it’s going to be a great day."

The opponents have yet to be revealed, and Wright’s followers need to stay tuned to his timeline to find out how they can feature in the game. In the lead up to the game, his Twitter followers will also help to select the team name, badge and kit plus shirt giveaways and other surprises.
