Vauxhall Movano minibus helps out UK charity

A 17-seat Vauxhall Movano minibus has been delivered to a youth and community development scheme as a New Year gift from Vauxhall.
The Centre for Youth & Community Development (CYCD) will use the vast people carrier to carry young people, elderly people and schools and youth clubs to various trips throughout the country.
The van will also be booked out by other charities who are in need of a comfortable and safe minibus van conversion, Vauxhall has revealed.
Cherie Denton, Vauxhall's community relations officer, explained: "Transport is expensive for everyone and this donation will make it affordable for more people. CYCD has carried out exceptional work in the community.
"The minibus will be placed with them and they will have a booking system so that other charities in the county can benefit from this resource when it is not being used by CYCD."
The Vauxhall Movano 17-seat minibus is designed with rows of double seats and a single seat with a walkway down the middle.
The van conversion includes walkway lights, sliding side doors and an electric side-step to improve access to the rear seats.
As a large van capable of seating 17, the Vauxhall Movano minibus comes with a high level of safety system including Electronic Stability Programme (ESP) to prevent body roll in corners, passenger car-standard seatbelts and padded head restraints for each seat.
CYCD director Mir Juma says: "Vauxhall's incredibly generous gift will make an enormous difference to us, transporting the very young, to the very elderly people, taking summer school and youth club youngsters on regular trips and generally providing a much-needed community resource. We can't thank them enough."
