Vauxhall reveals Astra Sports Tourer prices
Vauxhall has revealed the Astra Sports Tourer will be £500 less than the outgoing model, but will still include an enhanced standard kit.
The Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer will be priced from £16,575 and will be fitted with air conditioning, curtain airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Electronic Parking Brake (EPB), aux in socket and Active Safety Front Head Restraints as standard.
The Sports Tourer’s green credentials are equally as impressive; the entry-level 1.7 CDTi engine emits just 120g/km of CO2, yet is more powerful than the outgoing entry-level 1.3 CDTi.
The new Astra range has sold over 30,000 units in the UK since its release at the end of 2009 and the company believes the Sports Tourer will account for ten per cent of all future sales.
The Vauxhall Astra Sports Tourer will be built alongside its hatchback counterpart at the Ellesmere Port plant, Cheshire.
The Vauxhall Astra hatchback is available now from £13,995.
