Vauxhall Vivaro Vault secures charity funds

Vauxhall’s ‘bank on wheels’ – the Vivaro Vault – has returned from its two week Drive for Heroes tour of the UK, which saw the company raise important funds for the Help for Heroes charity.
A total of £75,000 was raised by Vauxhall through VXR Power Festival ticket sales and activities, as well as similar schemes by employees and retailers across Britain.
The £75,000 cheque was handed over to Mark Elliot, Chief of Staff at Help for Heroes, and Derek Derenalagi, a serviceman who has benefited from the charity’s support, at the VXR Power Festival on 29 August.
Duncan Aldred, Vauxhall’s Managing Director, presented the cheque on the day and commented: “We are very proud to have generated £75,000 for Help for Heroes in the first six months of our two year partnership."
Vauxhall also recently donated two Insignia Sport Tourers and a Movano van to the Help for Heroes charity.
The Vauxhall Vivaro is priced from £17,691.
